●Efforts at JAE
To reduce the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム material used in machining, JAE is working to purchase materials in ideal sizes. In order to reduce the volume ポーカー オンライン ゲーム gold used in gold plating in production, JAE is making ongoing efforts to implement efficiency improvements such as the management ポーカー オンライン ゲーム the proper metal plating area and its thickness speeding up the process. At the same time, it utilizes reusable parts ポーカー オンライン ゲーム production equipment and pursues the effective use ポーカー オンライン ゲーム resources and the reduction ポーカー オンライン ゲーム material and capital investment costs.

●Efforts at HAE
HAE is reducing the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム materials used by reducing the width ポーカー オンライン ゲーム metal materials used in presses and reducing pin protection materials. Molding materials are being reduced by downsizing unnecessaryspoolers/runners(use cursor to view definitions) that are discharged when extracting molded products; improving the number, mold shape, and positioning ポーカー オンライン ゲームgates(use cursor to view definitions) when designing molds; switching from cold runners to hot runners; and using pulverizing equipment with spoolers/runners. This reduces the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム molding material used, while using recycled materials promotes continuous reductions in the purchase ポーカー オンライン ゲーム new material inputs and helps to reduce waste.
 To reduce the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム gold used in gold plating, HAE is constantly making efficiency improvements such as in proper plating area as well as thickness management and speeding up the process. This has led to significant cost reductions. The feed rate has been increased and electricity utilized reduced by overhauling the fixtures and setting terms used in the plating system.

●Efforts at FAE
Efforts to improve the reuse rate for copper alloy electrode material used in the manufacturing process for metal parts (discharge machining) are contributing to a reduction in the quantity ポーカー オンライン ゲーム material used and the metal waste generated. It also introduced a special processing machine for cutting the plate material to reduce the margin for grinding, enabling effective use ポーカー オンライン ゲーム materials.

●Efforts at SAE
The SAE site continues to focus on reducing cutting processes. These efforts contribute to reduced metal waste, as well as lower CO2emissions during material production.

This is seen as a global issue, like others addressed by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the United Nations in 2015.   • Although the water input volume per unit is gradually decreasing due to the activities shown in the reduction example above, it appears that we need to take further steps to improve both production efficiency and reduction measures to prevent the impact ポーカー オンライン ゲーム external turmoil such as deteriorating production efficiency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in fiscal 2020. Supply chain development
In 2017, we began to monitor water usage throughout the supply chain pertaining to the procurement ポーカー オンライン ゲーム materials by the JAE Group, aiming to make more effective use ポーカー オンライン ゲーム water resources across the life cycle.
 Following last year’s environmental report, we monitored the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム water used with the following two methods. This year, as a result ポーカー オンライン ゲーム aggregating and then narrowing down the target to primary suppliers, we were able to obtain nearly the same results in the two survey methods. It was found that water usage related to the procurement ポーカー オンライン ゲーム plated steel accounts for 60% or more ポーカー オンライン ゲーム the entire supply chain. Although there were calculation errors in the total amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム water used due to the factors below, we will keep improving data accuracy throughout the supply chain, and we also plan to conduct ongoing surveys to raise awareness ポーカー オンライン ゲーム water as a valuable resource.

Survey method and FY2020 result summary (target: primary suppliers)
1. As a part ポーカー オンライン ゲーム the environmental quality checks we conduct as we pursue green procurement, water usage volume was included on the check sheet in the survey on actual water usage. The annual usage volume was 7,336 thousand m3.
2. Based on estimates using the “Water Footprint” database released by Tokyo City University, annual water usage was 4,832 thousand m3.

Water consumption survey
While considering policies to further reduce water usage, we surveyed consumption in the water circulation cycle at worksites. After surveying the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム evaporation from production and air conditioning equipment, the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム food and drink consumed at the Company’s welfare facilities, the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム watering ポーカー オンライン ゲーム areas ポーカー オンライン ゲーム greenery, and the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム evaporation from other facilities, we found that there was a difference between the estimates and meter readings in the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム evaporation from the air conditioning cooling towers.Just as last year, as a result ポーカー オンライン ゲーム checking the water supply, the difference was 5.3 times. A difference ポーカー オンライン ゲーム 4 to 7 times, depending on yearly weather conditions, was expected.
 On the other hand, the ratio ポーカー オンライン ゲーム consumption to input has not changed much for the past 3 years, and is about 13%.
 Below are the annual estimates ポーカー オンライン ゲーム consumption by the domestic Group for the past 4 years and the breakdown for fiscal 2020.
 Measures to reduce water usage had a major effect on air conditioning equipment, so as an effective measure, we will install meters whenever possible to monitor the amount ポーカー オンライン ゲーム evaporation.
