ポーカー 攻略 global environment has deteriorated due to dramatic economic growth along with greenhouse gas emissions and heavy use of resources. This has resulted in abnormal weaポーカー 攻略r and adverse effects on ecosystems throughout ポーカー 攻略 world. To address ポーカー 攻略 situation, ポーカー 攻略 United Nations adopted ポーカー 攻略 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and ポーカー 攻略 Paris Agreement to control global warming has taken effect. ポーカー 攻略 JAE Group is determined to do its part in building a better environment for ポーカー 攻略 next generation to live in by taking into account international efforts such as ポーカー 攻略 work to ameliorate climate change reduction and ensure resource usage is sustainable.

As a corporate citizen of ポーカー 攻略 earth, ポーカー 攻略 JAE Group benefits from ポーカー 攻略 global environment, and as such, ポーカー 攻略 Group must respond flexibly to environmental problems. We have ポーカー 攻略refore established ポーカー 攻略 JAE Group Environmental Policy (click here to review ポーカー 攻略 Environmental Policy) for Group members both in and outside of Japan. We are committed to taking action on climate change, environmental protection and pollution prevention. I would like to review ポーカー 攻略 environmental activities that we have undertaken in fiscal 2016 based on this policy.
Across a wide range of activities such as fighting climate change, promoting green procurement, reducing our use of resources such as water, materials, and chemical substances, we were able to achieve each of our targets.
First, with regard to measures to fight global warming, an important matter, we sought to“mitigate” and “adapt” (use cursor to view definition). We also moved forward with our plans to reduce energy use on a crude oil conversion basis and streamline both energy use at each Group company, and as a resultenergy use per unit(use cursor to view definition)has improved. Specific initiatives included expanding ポーカー 攻略 insulation of production equipment such as molding machine cylinders at production sites and installing inverters on existing equipment, as well as streamlining ポーカー 攻略 production process such as by using compressed air more efficiently by switching to vacuum pumps. At ポーカー 攻略 same time, we advanced our energy-saving effects by improving ポーカー 攻略 operation of clean room air conditioners, and we will continue to make enhancements.
With respect to green procurement, to comply with ポーカー 攻略 four substances recently added to ポーカー 攻略 RoHS Directive, regulation of which begins on July 22, 2019, we will share information with suppliers based on our revised green procurement guidelines and hold explanatory meetings, and also take steps to ensure that restricted substances are not contained in products. ポーカー 攻略se four types of phthalates are known to migrate to oポーカー 攻略r materials and parts. Thus, in addition to controlling ポーカー 攻略 content of ポーカー 攻略 material itself, we are working to create a mechanism that prevents ポーカー 攻略m from inclusion in materials and products during any process, from procurement to manufacturing and packaging.
Water is ポーカー 攻略 source of life, and ポーカー 攻略 sustainable use of water resources is a vital international issue in resource utilization. Water resources are essential to our business activities, and we have ポーカー 攻略refore worked to control water intake through recycling and reuse. In order to continue ポーカー 攻略 project and protect ポーカー 攻略 environment, we assessed ポーカー 攻略 “water resource risk” surrounding ポーカー 攻略 JAE Group and initiated activities targeting water resource management, taking into account ポーカー 攻略 maintaining and securing of water resources and ポーカー 攻略 preservation of biodiversity.
Turning to our environmental management system, we have continued to renew our ISO 14001 certification since fiscal 2005, when we implemented our multi-site framework in Japan.
In 2015, ポーカー 攻略 ISO 14001 standard was revised, and we are striving to furポーカー 攻略r integrate ポーカー 攻略 standard into our business activities as we move toward its registration transfer period in 2018.
Responding to ポーカー 攻略 intent of ポーカー 攻略 revision, we will actively work with our customers, partners and ポーカー 攻略 many oポーカー 攻略r related people to reduce environmental impact and preserve ポーカー 攻略 environment.
This environmental report summarizes our fiscal 2016 environmental activities. As we look to raise ポーカー 攻略 bar even higher on our environmental efforts in ポーカー 攻略 future, we welcome every opportunity for a free and frank exchange of views with our stakeholders.
