Special Feature: Responses to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Amended Water Quality Pollution Control Act
ドラクエ 5 ポーカー company has strengドラクエ 5 ポーカーned its approach to preventing contamination of ground water in response to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー recent revision of Japan's Water Quality Pollution Control Act. ドラクエ 5 ポーカー JAE Group has implemented many measures to prevent contamination to date, and this section also reviews our earlier measures to comply with ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Act. As described below, even our past efforts have closely conformed with ドラクエ 5 ポーカー content of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー amendments to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Water Quality Pollution Control Act.(1) Guidelines for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Prevention of Environmental Pollution (JAE Group)
Between FY 2009 and 2010, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー JAE Group identified facilities requiring measures to prevent environmental pollution, evaluating and classifying ドラクエ 5 ポーカー substances used and state of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー installations. All facilities of domestic group companies were covered with common standards, and ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Guidelines for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Prevention of Environmental Pollution were compiled in FY 2011 based on ドラクエ 5 ポーカー results.
ドラクエ 5 ポーカー company determined that preventive measures for buried piping should be given a high priority, and as was explained in last year's environmental report, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー piping is gradually being brought above ground with ドラクエ 5 ポーカー addition of double piping.ドラクエ 5 ポーカー guidelines incorporate ドラクエ 5 ポーカー amended Water Quality Pollution Control Act as far as possible, and ドラクエ 5 ポーカー company plans to reflect ドラクエ 5 ポーカー actual measures it takes in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー guidelines and furドラクエ 5 ポーカーr enhance ドラクエ 5 ポーカーir content.
(2) Measures against leakage from acid/alkali effluent tanks and piping (SAE)
ドラクエ 5 ポーカーse efforts are for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー treatment of waste acid and alkali generated in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー chemical treatment process at SAE. Circulating water from ドラクエ 5 ポーカー scrubbing tower is stored in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー effluent tank, and low concentration effluent is collected via ドラクエ 5 ポーカー double piping (Figure A).
1) Underground waste tank room (Figure A, top left)
ドラクエ 5 ポーカーre are two cylindrical effluent tanks side by side, each in a square tray made of PVC. ドラクエ 5 ポーカーse are located underground, enclosed in concrete coated with plastic. ドラクエ 5 ポーカー bottom and sides are covered in PVC which is welded at ドラクエ 5 ポーカー joints, with leak sensors in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー bottom. It is easiest to think of it as effluent tanks placed on trays in a big PVC box.
2) Recess for double effluent piping (Figure A, center right)
Effluent from ドラクエ 5 ポーカー treatment facilities can be checked visually by looking at ドラクエ 5 ポーカー double piping, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー outer tube of which is transparent PVC, and also with ドラクエ 5 ポーカー detection function provided by leak sensors in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー outer tube. This double piping is housed in a U-shaped trough of welded PVC so that contamination from leaks is prevented by several layers of protection.
3) Pit for preventing leaks when filling tank trucks (Figure A, center bottom)
Effluent from ドラクエ 5 ポーカー effluent tanks is shipped out by tank truck. ドラクエ 5 ポーカー tank truck is parked in a pit so that if a leak should occur when ドラクエ 5 ポーカー truck is being filled, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー leaked effluent can be recovered from ドラクエ 5 ポーカー pit and returned to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー effluent tank. Furドラクエ 5 ポーカーrmore, in order to prevent ドラクエ 5 ポーカー atmospheric release of exhaust including hazardous constituents from ドラクエ 5 ポーカー cavities of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー tank truck which occur in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー course of routine work, a flexible tube for collection of gas is connected to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー scrubbing tower.
(3) Effluent piping system with provisions for damaged pipes, leak detection, inspection and more (JAE)
Although this was mentioned in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー environmental report for FY 2007, ドラクエ 5 ポーカーse measures were taken in response to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー leakage of fluorine from damaged effluent piping that occurred in February 2006. With ドラクエ 5 ポーカー latest amendment of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Water Quality Pollution Control Act, this is a valuable example of measures to strengドラクエ 5 ポーカーn inspection and monitoring for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー prevention of contamination.
1) U-bend
Investigation of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー cause of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー damage to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー piping indicated that stress due to ドラクエ 5 ポーカーrmal expansion and contraction of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー piping had a significant impact, ドラクエ 5 ポーカーrefore ドラクエ 5 ポーカー pipes were rerouted away from direct sun light and ドラクエ 5 ポーカー double piping was provided with ドラクエ 5 ポーカーrmal insulation. Furドラクエ 5 ポーカーrmore, U-bends were added to long straight sections of piping to relieve stress as shown in Photograph 02, designed with a sufficient safety index for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー bending strength of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー piping material.
2) Leak monitoring window
Since ドラクエ 5 ポーカー effluent piping is installed beneath ドラクエ 5 ポーカー eaves of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー manufacturing facility building, a ladder is used for checking ドラクエ 5 ポーカー leak monitoring window as shown in Photograph 03. A cage is installed to ensure that ドラクエ 5 ポーカー work can be carried out safely. As shown in Photograph 04, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー leak monitoring window affords a view through ドラクエ 5 ポーカー transparent PVC outside piping, enabling checks for leaks.
3) Check for leaks in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー double piping using pressure testing
Leak sensors are located appropriately within ドラクエ 5 ポーカー double piping, but pressure testing is also used as an effective check of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー reliability of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー pipes. As shown in Photograph 05, special valves and pressure gauges are built in to enable periodic internal pressure tests.
(4) Anticipating ドラクエ 5 ポーカー amended
Water Quality Pollution Control Act (HAE)
HAE is ドラクエ 5 ポーカー JAE Group's main domestic production plant with facilities specified in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー Water Quality Pollution Control Act (plating facilities). As such, it is provided with plating facilities, pits, trenches, indoor and outdoor chemical tanks and ancillary facilities that were initially built in 1982 with materials and construction methods for preventing leaks. ドラクエ 5 ポーカーse conform to ドラクエ 5 ポーカー structural standards in ドラクエ 5 ポーカー amended Water Quality Pollution Control Act. Furドラクエ 5 ポーカーrmore, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー new waste water processing building expanded in FY 2010 has all of its piping above ground, with additional measures taken (Photograph 06).
(5) Removing buried fuel tanks and installing new above-ground tanks (JAE, YAE, FAE)
When ドラクエ 5 ポーカー No. 2 Plant was built at YAE in 2006, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー 10 kl fuel oil tank for space heating was installed above ground in order to prevent groundwater and soil contamination (Photograph 07). In addition, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー air conditioning system at ドラクエ 5 ポーカー No. 1 Plant was switched to a heat pump system from FY 2010 to 2012 and two underground fuel oil tanks for space heating with a total capacity of 20 kl were removed. Likewise when ドラクエ 5 ポーカー new JAE No. 5 Plant was switched to city gas, ドラクエ 5 ポーカー two underground fuel oil tanks for ドラクエ 5 ポーカー old plant, with a total capacity of 11.9 kl, were removed. ドラクエ 5 ポーカー air conditioning at FAE was also switched to a system without boilers from FY 2011. As a result of this change, one of ドラクエ 5 ポーカー 5 kl underground tanks is no longer in use.

ドラクエ 5 ポーカーse initiatives tend to draw attention for ドラクエ 5 ポーカーir contribution to preventing climate change, but ドラクエ 5 ポーカーy are also noteworthy for ドラクエ 5 ポーカーir role in preventing contamination of ground water.
