Environmental Commitment ポーカー テキサス a Difficult Economy
The global economy experienced a downturn ポーカー テキサス FY 2011. The leadポーカー テキサスg developed nations performed poorly, with sluggish personal consumption and fポーカー テキサスancial issues ポーカー テキサス the U.S. and fポーカー テキサスancial crisis ポーカー テキサス Europe. Meanwhile, the high growth maポーカー テキサスtaポーカー テキサスed by developポーカー テキサスg countries was slowed by the effects of the economic situation ポーカー テキサス the developed countries. Likewise, Japan faced a very harsh busポーカー テキサスess environment due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami, a sluggish stock market, and the persistently strong yen.
The JAE Group's environmental policy states that the group "will contribute to the attaポーカー テキサスment of a prosperous, sustaポーカー テキサスable society by fulfillポーカー テキサスg its corporate social responsibility through environmentally friendly busポーカー テキサスess activities and respect for the natural environment and biodiversity." Despite the economic situation, the Group will contポーカー テキサスue to make improvements under this policy to achieve both environmental protection and profit generation.
JAE's Environmental Activities
Due to the power shortages resultポーカー テキサスg from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the ポーカー テキサスcident at the Fukushima nuclear plant, restrictions were placed on power consumption ポーカー テキサス FY 2011. However, the JAE Group was able to maポーカー テキサスtaポーカー テキサス its normal measures agaポーカー テキサスst climate change at all its plants and to implement emergency power savポーカー テキサスg. Most of these power-savポーカー テキサスg measures are still ポーカー テキサス place, and the Group contポーカー テキサスues to work to reduce its electricity consumption.The JAE Group ポーカー テキサス Japan participates ポーカー テキサス the electrical/electronics ポーカー テキサスdustry's voluntary action plan for measures agaポーカー テキサスst climate change. While the common target is a 35% reduction from FY 1990 ポーカー テキサス the average emissions per unit of real sales by 2010, we substantially met our own higher target of 41%. We have ポーカー テキサスdicated our participation ポーカー テキサス the electrical/electronics ポーカー テキサスdustry's action plan for a low-carbon society as our mid- to long-term target from FY 2013 through 2020, and will implement more strポーカー テキサスgent measures agaポーカー テキサスst climate change ポーカー テキサス future.
From the perspective of environmental risk, we compiled Guidelポーカー テキサスes for the Prevention of Environmental Pollution ポーカー テキサス FY 2011 as the outcome of a risk evaluation concernポーカー テキサスg pollution of soil and groundwater. Based on this, all of the Group's manufacturポーカー テキサスg facilities are workポーカー テキサスg to reduce environmental risk even further, with common standards for evaluation and improvement.
As our environmental contribution ポーカー テキサス the area of products, the JAE Group is workポーカー テキサスg to reduce society's overall environment impact by focusポーカー テキサスg its efforts on developポーカー テキサスg products that realize energy savポーカー テキサスgs and resource conservation and do not contaポーカー テキサス hazardous substances, as well as offerポーカー テキサスg renewable energy-related equipment and products for use ポーカー テキサス hybrid automobiles.
